Japanese Festival 2008
Posted in Carpe Diem with tags festivals on November 15, 2008 by carpediemtattooit’s today!! November 15-16, 2008.
It’s held in Duta Wacana Christian University, Jogjakarta, Indonesia for her birthday. the ticket is Rp.10.000.
I think every Japanese culture will be present here. we’re opening a tattoo booth there, but we only do some temporaries, since we can’t get any clean area there for real tattoos. Just come and enjoy the weekend
the busy busy afternoon preparing the fest. GC and Rio made koi and dragon banners. Me and Indra, the dreadlock maker, made fonts for the backdrop.
who’s Rio a.k.a. Om Popo a.k.a. Koplo?
Posted in Carpe Diem on November 15, 2008 by carpediemtattooAbout Romero’s tats, I forgot to tell who’s Rio since the tattoo artists are Ibas and Hari.
Hari resigned about 8 months ago cuz he found he likes painting more, so he is currently still painting with a shared painting studio in Bugisan.
Rio is an old friend from Realino Scooter Club Yogyakarta, Ibas’ college mate too. He is still working in his private airbrush studio now, but also help us in the tattoo studio. His drawing preferences are photographs and black grey works. He did my ‘Personal Jesus’ tattoo last July on Jogjakarta Art Festival when we attend a tattoo workshop there. It’s a bit blurry. I’ll update other photos later.
